Dolphin Nautilus CC Review (2026)
The most affordable way into the Dolphin in-ground lineup.
The Dolphin Nautilus CC is the entry point into Dolphin's in-ground robot lineup — $100 less than the CC Plus, with the same Maytronics build quality and a 2-year warranty. It cleans floors and walls without the waterline scrubbing or built-in scheduler of the CC Plus. The right choice if you want Dolphin reliability without paying CC Plus prices.

Full Review
The Dolphin Nautilus CC occupies a specific and useful role: Dolphin quality, in-ground coverage, at $399. For pool owners who have been looking at the CC Plus and wishing it were $100 less — this is that robot.
The concessions versus the CC Plus are deliberate. No waterline scrubbing — the CC cleans floors and walls but does not reach the tile line at the waterline. No built-in scheduler — you press the button when you want it to run. No app control. These are meaningful limitations that make the $100 price gap logical rather than arbitrary.
For pools without significant waterline buildup, the CC is a perfectly complete cleaning solution. For pools with calcium deposits or algae on the waterline tile, the CC Plus is worth the upgrade — waterline scrubbing is the feature that matters most for those situations.
The 60-ft swivel cord and top-load filter match the CC Plus exactly. The same reliable navigation algorithm covers the full pool floor and walls in about 2 hours. Build quality is identical — both are made by Maytronics with the same components and carry the same 2-year warranty.
Who It's For
In-ground pool owners who want Dolphin brand quality and warranty at $399. Pools without significant waterline buildup. Budget-conscious buyers who are choosing between this and the CC Plus.
Pools with waterline tile that needs regular scrubbing (upgrade to CC Plus). Anyone who wants scheduling or app control. Above-ground pool owners (Dolphin Escape is better for those).
