AIPER Seagull SE Review (2026)
100% cordless. Under $200. Actually works.
The AIPER Seagull SE is the best cordless robot under $200 — and it genuinely earns it. 90-minute runtime, auto-parks when done, and no cord to manage. For above-ground pools and smaller in-ground pools, this is the easiest pool robot experience you can buy.

Full Review
The AIPER Seagull SE is the simplest pool robot you can buy. Drop it in, press the button, walk away. 90 minutes later it has cleaned the floor and parks itself near the pool wall with a little bumper so you can pull it out easily. No cord to plug in, no tangles, no setup.
At 5.5 pounds, it is dramatically lighter than any corded robot. Lifting it in and out of an above-ground pool — which you'll do every other day — is genuinely effortless. This is a real quality-of-life advantage over heavier units.
The 90-minute battery covers our 15,000-gallon oval test pool with a few minutes to spare. On our 12,000-gallon round above-ground pool, it covered the full floor with about 20 minutes of runtime remaining. If your pool is over 18,000 gallons, you may need two sessions (charge it overnight, run again the next day).
The tradeoff: the Seagull SE doesn't climb walls. It stays on the floor. The fine mesh filter does capture debris effectively, but you won't get the waterline scrubbing you'd get from a corded robot. For most above-ground pool owners, that is an acceptable tradeoff at this price point.
Who It's For
Above-ground pool owners who want the absolute easiest experience. Excellent for round/oval pools up to 18,000 gallons.
In-ground pool owners. Anyone who needs wall cleaning. Pools over 20,000 gallons.
