Dolphin Sigma Review (2026)
WiFi, dual brushes, large basket. This is the premium pick.
The Dolphin Sigma is the best robot for pool owners who want full app control, aggressive dual-brush scrubbing, and a three-year warranty. At $699 — $150 less than the Nautilus CC Plus — the Sigma delivers more features at a lower price. WiFi app control, dual brushes, and a 3-year warranty make it the better value for most in-ground pool owners.

Full Review
The Dolphin Sigma occupies the premium tier of the in-ground robot market, and it earns the position. The headline upgrade over the Nautilus CC Plus is the dual brush system — two counter-rotating brush rolls that agitate the pool surface more aggressively in both directions. The difference is visible on pool surfaces with any texture: rough plaster, pebble aggregate, or tile floors where algae gets into grout lines.
The WiFi app integration is polished for a pool robot. You can start a cleaning cycle from anywhere, adjust the schedule, run "spot cleaning" mode that concentrates on one area, and get a notification when the cycle completes. The app works well on iOS; Android performance has been slightly less consistent in our testing.
The larger filter basket means fewer interruptions during operation. On our heavy-debris test pool (lots of trees overhead), the Nautilus needed the filter emptied every 2–3 cycles. The Sigma went 4–5 cycles between empties.
The 3-year warranty adds meaningful value. With a $699 robot that undercuts the CC Plus by $150, the Sigma is genuinely the better deal for most buyers.
Who It's For
In-ground pool owners with textured surfaces, algae history, or those who want WiFi app control. Worth the premium if any of those apply.
Above-ground pool owners — the Sigma is designed for in-ground pools. If you need a simple, no-app corded robot, the CC Plus is more straightforward.
